Leslie Higgins
Soprano
Leslie Higgins is an Uxbridge-born soprano currently based in Toronto. She is an active member of Ontario’s vibrant choral scene as both a soloist and ensemble singer, having performed professionally with many choirs including Chorus Niagara and the Orpheus Choir of Toronto. She is currently a member of the TMSingers, the professional core of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, and The Elora Singers. Leslie also loves the stage and has a long history in Musical Theatre, having performed in over 15 musical and opera productions.
She completed her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Western University and her Masters in Vocal Performance at the University of Toronto. In addition to performing, Leslie works at the Royal Conservatory of Music as the Coordinator of The Taylor Academy and The Glenn Gould School and is a passionate private vocal teacher.
