Carlos Vasquez is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and conductor based in Toronto. Originally from Cumana, Venezuela, he was classically trained in both violin and clarinet, eventually performing with several youth and professional orchestras. Carlos received training on orchestral conducting under Maestro Yuri Hung (Venezuela) while performing with the Symphony Orchestra of the Anzoategui State for over six years.
Now an active freelance musician in the GTA, Carlos currently holds the position of Associate Conductor with the Rosedale Symphony Orchestra. He is a familiar face in the local orchestral scene, performing with Orchestra Toronto, Greater Toronto Philharmonic, North York Concert Orchestra, and Kindred Spirits Orchestra. Carlos balances his musical life with a professional background in Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
